Home Rehab Program
Today there is a family in Carroll County that is very proud! The Englands of Osage have been living in a trailer that was so leaky that water was getting into plugs and other electrical areas. In addition, the flooring in the trailer was a danger to Mr. England, who is disabled. This called for a new home and the Englands began looking for assistance.
Today the England family is in a new 1200 square foot house thanks to the Office of Human Concern Housing program that began over three years ago. Al West, Executive Director, created the program when field reports from staff and census data pointed to a need for rehabbing affordable homes in Benton, Carroll and Madison Counties.
Today, the England family, through a housing loan with Arkansas Development Finance Authority HOME program has a beautiful home that provides real value to them as a family.
